Select Octave as the plugin. There are no specific application parameters for this plugin.
The Octave application will launch in within a VNC instance in a new browser window. Create a new file and enter your equations to solve. Click on the gear/cog icon to run/solve the equation.

It provides capabilities for the numerical solution of linear and nonlinear problems, and for performing other numerical experiments. It also provides extensire graphics capabilities for data visualization and manipulation.
