MediaWiki

MediaWiki is a free and open-source wiki software. It is used on Wikipedia and almost all other Wikimedia websites, including Wiktionary, Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata; these sites define a large part of the requirement set for MediaWiki.

Getting Started

Select MediaWiki as the plugin. There are no Application Parameters for this plugin. MediaWiki (browser-based MediaWiki IDE) will launch in a browser.

You will first need to login to your MediaWiki database by selecting ‘Log in’ in the upper right hand corner.

The initial username and password are Admin and infinitetactics

Upon your first run of your MediaWiki instance, you will need to change the password for your database.

  1. Select ‘Preferences’ from the menu.
  2. Select the ‘Change password’ button
